The #TRC Hockey Academy is a complete ten month program that includes education, off-ice strength and conditioning, mental training and team development. Through knowledge, research and experience, the #TRC Hockey Academy identifies the key areas of focus to develop the strongest, most intelligent and committed hockey players.
Using a combination of on and off-ice training, the #TRC Hockey Academy creates the ultimate environment for the players to achieve their personal goals. Practices are designed with individual development depending on the skills, size and position of every individual player. With the combined experiences and tools available to the coaching staff, will create a team environment committed to achieving the ultimate goal of post secondary education options.
#TRC Academy believes and implements many areas of study to develop our players: On-Ice Skill Work, Strength & Conditioning, Athletic Performance Testing, Video Breakdown Analysis, Analytics-Statistics-Game Play, Mental Fitness-Goal Setting, Nutrition Plan & Monitoring, Rest-Repair-Recovery, Socio-Cultural & Cross-Training, Social Media-Correspondence, Volunteerism-Community and Team Building. A competitive schedule, on-ice time (The Brant Sports Complex etc.) with modern training equipment, certified trainers, elite strength & conditioning coaches are all facilitated through The RISE Centre.

Matt Morrow-TRC Hockey Head Coach
|The TRC Wolfpack welcomes Matthew Morrow, 32, from Coral Springs, Florida as its new Head Hockey Coach and Head of Hockey Operations. Morrow brings with him 10+ years coaching experience ranging from U18 to collegiate hockey. Morrow joins The Wolfpack after 5 seasons with the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs where he worked with the EHL, USPHL and NCDC teams. Each season his teams finished with winning records, earning consecutive playoff berths. As an assistant coach in 2015, he helped lead the Junior Monarchs to an EHL championship. In 2019, he coached his USPHL team to a National Tournament appearance and assisted the NCDC team to the playoffs in its inaugural season. In addition to his coaching responsibilities with the Junior Monarchs, Morrow held the title of Director of Scouting and Recruiting. In the 5 seasons Morrow was with the organization, the Junior Monarchs placed more than 50 players into NCAA programs. Prior to New Hampshire, Morrow coached Junior A in the NAHL with the Soo Eagles and collegiately in the ACHA for Penn State University. Morrow‘s introduction to coaching came at the U18AAA level in his native South Florida. Soon after, he joined the staff at his Alma mater, the North Broward Preparatory School, where the Eagles captured the Florida State Championship in 2010. As a student-athlete at North Broward Prep, Morrow was a varsity starter for both the soccer team and ice hockey team, which he captained as a senior. Barry Dreger-TRC Hockey Asst Coach
|#TRCMH Assistant Coach Barry Dreger, most recently served as the GM of Junior Hockey and Head Coach NCDC New Jersey Rockets of the USPHL. Prior to 2019-20 season Barry lead the Jr. Kings’ 18U AAA Head Coach. played three seasons of Major Junior in the Western Hockey League (WHL) before embarking on an 11-year professional career in the American Hockey League (AHL), International Hockey League (IHL) and ECHL. A Winnipeg native, Dreger, was also a successful coach in the American Collegiate Hockey Association with Kennesaw State University where he led the team to a national tournament appearance in 2012. email@example.com|
