Big City Challenge 2-North of the Border Basketball at The RISE Centre March 21st, 2015 | Fort Wayne Indiana Flite (66) vs NBBL Toronto 3D (79)

Will Anyone Defeat Toronto 3D?

North of the Border Basketball League

A perfect season in sports is unreal, almost unrealistic in the realm of basketball. The Toronto 3D have challenged all speculation and have continued to defy the odds.

The Toronto 3D last season in the NBBL went an impressive 13-0 capturing the NBBL Championship. They just completed a two-game Big City Challenge series where they pulled out impressive victories over the New York  Avengers and the Fort Wayne Flite of the Central Basketball Association.

Although they had several close games, the fourth quarter has always proven to be theirs as they fight through adversity game in and game out to pull out victories. The 3D now leave everyone wondering can this team be beat? Currently at a perfect 15-0 in NBBL competition the fact remains, the Toronto 3D are hot and poised to continue.

Today, they announced the addition of 6’5 small forward Tshing Kasamba, a Brock University alumni and Mr. Basketball of the Niagara region. The addition adds more depth to the 3D roster and a scoring punch from the perimeter.

They have also added Zach Nagtzamm, a 7’0 center from Ohio University. The big man in the middle clogs the lane and will make it difficult for opposing offences to get clean looks at the bucket with his presence on the inside.

The 3D are retooling the final piece they need to make another NBBL championship run. Will they be beat? We will find out May 12th on our opening night to the season!!
