#1 Orangeville Prep Takes Home OSBA Trophy In Thrilling 99-97 Win Over #2 TRC Academy
By OSBA Communications 04/13/2017, 11:00am EDT
In the most fitting finale, the top seeded Orangeville Prep faced off against the number 2 TRC Academy. Both teams finished the regular season with a 18-2 record and the only thing separating them was a mere point differential. They split their regular season meetings and the gap in talent was slim to none. With a matchup of two incredibly evenly matched teams, the 2nd Annual OSBA Men’s Championship game was sure to exceed everyone’s expectations.

With skills forged in Canada, Justin Jackson is making his mark at Maryland
Washington Post: By Roman Stubbs December 26, 2016 “Jackson was originally committed to play with Poyser at UNLV, but reopened his recruitment last spring after the Running Rebels fired coach Dave Rice last spring. It was a wild and uncertain time in Jackson’s life. He had left Findlay Prep after his junior year to play his final season at Hill Academy in Ontario, which gave him the luxury of isolation close to family and a chance to develop his game away from the noise of the American system. But he knew he would eventually cross the border again to continue his career at the Division I level….”
